Dina Estrella, Turfway Park Sales and Marketing LeaderTurfway Hires Dina Estrella as Sales and Marketing Leader 
FLORENCE, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2016) - Turfway Park announced today the addition of Dina Estrella to spearhead sales and marketing for the Thoroughbred racetrack. In her new position, Estrella will oversee advertising, sales, events and promotions with a focus on engaging fans and growing Turfway’s community presence.

Oscar Nominated wins the 2016 Spiral StakesOscar Nominated Earns Kentucky Derby Berth with Spiral Stakes Win
FLORENCE, Ky. (April 2, 2016) – Ken and Sarah Ramsey’s Oscar Nominated made the lead at the eighth pole and held off Alto Racing’s determined Azar by a neck to win the $500,000 Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati Spiral Stakes (G3) at Turfway Park Saturday. It was another neck back to Beverly Anderson and Edward Seltzer’s Surgical Strike in third. Read more.

Wonderment wins the 2016 Bourbonette OaksWonderment Goes Gate to Wire in Bourbonette Oaks
He'll Pay Takes Rushaway Stakes, Gives Jones Career Win 1,000

FLORENCE, Ky. (April 2, 2016) – Wonderment led gate to wire and drew off in the stretch to win the Bourbonette Oaks (G3) at Turfway Park Saturday, earning 50 points toward a spot in the gate for the Kentucky Oaks (G1) at Churchill Downs on the first Friday in May. Read more.

Surgical Strike Dominates the 34th Battaglia Memorial
FLORENCE, Ky. (March 12, 2016) – Nearly last in the early going, Surgical Strike made a powerful move leaving the backstretch, went wide for running room in the stretch and blew by the field to take the John Battaglia Memorial Stakes by 2-1/2 lengths Saturday at Turfway Park. Read more.

Mike BattagliaTurfway Names Mike Battaglia Associate VP
FLORENCE, Ky. (March 4, 2016) – Mike Battaglia, whose association with Turfway Park stretches back almost half a century, will step down from the announcer’s booth to assume the role of associate vice president at the Northern Kentucky Thoroughbred race track, effective March 12. He will serve as the track’s ambassador, teaching the art and science of handicapping, engaging fans and helping to promote the track to horseplayers. Read more.
