FLORENCE, Ky., Dec. 10, 2010 – Kiss Mine and My Baby Baby, respectively second and third in the Grade 3 Cardinal Handicap on the turf at Churchill Downs last month, lead a dozen fillies and mares in the $50,000 My Charmer Stakes at Turfway Park Saturday.

Kiss Mine won three straight stakes in the summer before finishing seventh in the First Lady (G1) at Keeneland in October. Her runner-up finish in the Cardinal, just 1 1/4 lengths off the winner, put her back on track. She is two for two at Turfway and has been training exceptionally well at Churchill, posting bullets in three of her last four works. Greta Kunzweiler rides for trainer David Vance.

My Baby Baby was just a neck behind Kiss Mine in the Cardinal and has one win at Turfway, this year's Fairway Fun Stakes, run at the My Charmer distance of 1 1/16 miles. Dean Mernagh rides for trainer Ken McPeek.

My Baby Baby will break from post 11, with Kiss Mine to her outside. Both tend to run close to the pace, and the Turfway Polytrack has been kindest to horses coming from off the pace since the meet opened Dec. 2. That could leave the door open for Miss Blakely, who comes in off a win in the HBPA Handicap at Presque Isle and has never finished worse than third in three all-weather starts. The My Charmer is her first start since that September race. Carlos Marquez Jr. will be aboard or trainer Joe Orseno.

Seniga has shown some style versatility and comes in off an October 30 allowance win on the turf at Keeneland. She also has a win and a second in three all-weather starts, all at Turfway. Jon Court comes in to ride for trainer Byron Hughes.

Also entered are Whistlin' Jean (jockey Marcelino Pedroza Jr.); D'Country (Rodney Prescott); Coastal Solace, two months off a win in the Ligature Stakes at Penn National (Rusty Shaw); Sweet Lemon Chello (Jozbin Santana); Orchestrator, winner of the Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway last spring but off her game since then (Fabio Arguello Jr.); Miss Catalyst (Michael Baze); Joxy Roxy (Ben Creed) and Haka (James Lopez).

The 31st running of the My Charmer is the ninth of 10 races on Saturday's card. First post is 1:10pm.
