Next on the schedule is Josh Thompson on Saturday, May 15. Concerts are planned each month through December.

"Turfway has become a great gathering place for folks to enjoy a variety of entertainment including live racing, music, and other sporting events in a festive party atmosphere," said Turfway Park president Robert N. Elliston. "While we conduct live racing only five months of the year, the Rising Stars series and other events allow us to offer first class, reasonably priced entertainment to our loyal patrons all year long."

The Country's Rising Stars series is booked through C3 Presents of Austin, Texas, which also provides talent for the Austin City Limits Festival, Lollapalooza, House of Blues Dallas and House of Blues Houston, and Harrah's Casinos.
