FLORENCE, KY . . . July 30, 2004 . . . FasTrack Rewards offers Turfway Park patrons value every day, but recently the track rewarded nearly 100 of its FasTrack members with a trip to Harrah’s Casino on the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. This was the fourth year the track has used the FasTrack loyalty program to thank its top players with a weekend trip to Laughlin.
Turfway Park Relationship Marketing Manager Richard Skinner hosted 98 players on the trip, which took place June 30–July 3. Those attending received free airfare, free hotel accommodations, and a complimentary dinner.
“It was first rate, from transportation to the airport to the convenience of checking in for the flight to the transportation from the airport to the hotel to the hotel and casino itself," said Turfway Park patron Allen Deatherage, who qualified for the trip. "It’s a very nice reward for using the FasTrack card. I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t use a card like this, because it provides great rewards that no other track around here provides."
Players who use their FasTrack Rewards card collect points good toward free programs, free copies of Daily Racing Form, cash vouchers, and merchandise. Members also are invited to members-only events at the track. The loyalty program currently has more than 10,600 members, and since its inception in July 2000 has returned more than $750,000 to Turfway players. The card may be used only at Turfway Park. Membership in FasTrack Rewards is free.
The qualifying period for next year’s trip will be Nov. 28, 2004—Mar. 31, 2005.
Turfway Park is owned by Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., GTECH Corporation, and the Keeneland Association, Inc.
