Racehorse Aftercare Program
We work with New Vocations and the Kentucky Equine Humane Center to transition racehorses to new homes. If a horse in your shedrow is ready to retire, contact the agencies or call (859) 647-4842 or (859) 647-4775 to access the surrender stall at Turfway.

Stakes Schedule
Schedule includes closing dates, nomination forms, nominations, nomination PPs, and histories.

Entry Schedule & Deadlines
Thursday for Saturday | Friday for Sunday | Saturday for Thursday | Sunday for Friday
Entries will not close before 10:00am ET daily. Riders must be named by close of entries.

Scratch Time & Also-Eligibles
Scratch time is 9:00am ET the day before the race. Also-eligibles, if any, may move into the race in order of preference.

Early Cancellations
Trainers shipping before 8:00am ET during adverse weather/road conditions may contact the Stable Gate (859-647-4883) to confirm cancellation. After 8:00am, contact the racing office.

Turfway Park meetings are conducted under the supervision of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and are licensed by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. The rules of racing adopted by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission govern all races under the auspices of Turfway Park.
