SUNDAY, MARCH 21
Race 1
BENNY HALL comes in off of two solid efforts against much tougher and looks like he's in a good spot to pick up the win on the drop in class. LARRY APPEAL shows two decent efforts at this level and looks like the one to beat. KARMA DISTRACTION has a chance.
Race 2
STEAL MIA KISS almost went down leaving the gate last out and lost all chance. Her best would make her tough to beat in a weak maiden race. LIL BRIT is another one who lost all chance last out when she stumbled out of the gate. She figures to be the one to beat. BEAVERHEAD ROCK gets Lasix for the first time in her sixth career start today and will like the move back to sprinting.
Race 3
FOUL TROUBLE is inconsistent but has four wins over the track and could score against a soft field today. O'RIAIN has been in good form recently at Beulah. He's run some decent races over the surface and looks like a contender. PRESIDENT ELECT will be a solid favorite and is definitely capable of beating these.
Race 4
HIGH FLYING WENDY didn't show much at Mountaineer last time out but ran two decent races here at Turfway before that one and is capable of beating this bunch. LOGAN'S HEAT moves to the barn of Greg Foley and posted a solid work over this surface earlier this month. JJ GULCH looks dangerous with Lopez picking up the mount.
Race 5
TOP VALUE ran a game second behind an impressive winner in her debut. She's bred to like the extra distance and any improvement in her second career start would make her tough to beat. TALKIN AND SINGIN has run well in each of her two starts. She should be able to handle the move around two turns and is a definite contender. FLASHY'S SONG is a well bred first time starter from the Lopresti barn who has been training steadily at Keeneland.
Race 6
STAN THE TAP MAN looked very sharp beating most of these same horses last time out. He figures to be in a good spot on or near the lead again today and looks best in a well matched field. NATIVE TONGUE and DUTY ROSTER run coupled together for Woodard and both look capable of winning here. DA DA DA DUM will be running at the end again tonight and would be no surprise here.
Race 7
ENTOMOLOGY didn't show much sprinting at Tampa last time out but ran well in each of her starts around two turns prior to that one. She should be able to handle the switch in surfaces; give her a slight edge here. LEMEL has run well in each of her three starts and looks like the main competition. WICKEDOLOGY was second here at Turfway back in December and is a threat.
Race 8
FLAT CHANCE closed well to finish second despite breaking poorly last time out in her first start in over eight months. She shows a nice work since that one and will like the move back around two turns. Give her the edge here despite the move up in class. SLICK MISS was a clear second behind an impressive winner last out and is definitely the one to beat. TOUCH OF SUCCESS is a contender.
Race 9
AILEENA'S DANCER made a decent middle move in her first race back after a long layoff. She should improve and could spring the upset today. CREATIVE DAWN didn't fire at Mountaineer last time out but ran well in two straight here at Turfway and has to be considered. A JUNE AFFAIR figures to be on the lead again today and looks like a solid contender.
THURSDAY, MARCH 25
Race 1
TENPIN ALLEY takes a big drop in class after a disappointing effort last time out. He ran two solid races over the track before that one and looks like he's in a good spot to pick up the win here. FORCHTENBERG drops back down in class after two even efforts at Gulfstream. He won here at Turfway three starts back and looks dangerous here with Lebron picking up the mount. SUDDENLY PERFECT has run well in each of his last four and is a threat.
Race 2
THROUGH THE CLOUDS has been in good form recently, with two wins and a second in her last three starts. She figures to be running at the end again today and looks best in a wide open field. MISSZOEY BELLE didn't show much at Penn last time out but showed some decent form here at Turfway before that one and is a contender. K LYNN just missed at long odds last time out against similar and gets Mojica back in the irons today.
Race 3
COLD FEET was second best against similar last time out. He figures to be in a good spot on or near the lead and rates a slight edge here. BE A PRINCE hasn't run a bad race in any of his starts this winter at Turfway and looks like the one to beat. GLORY CREEK has a chance.
Race 4
WILD SUNDAY didn't fire last time out but ran some strong races against tougher before that one and is the choice for the win here. CAB has been idle since January, when he didn't fire going longer. He won't mind the move back to sprinting and looks dangerous on the drop in class. FIVE STAR THIEF is capable of running well here.
Race 5
DARK STORM just missed against similar last time out and is the choice to pick up the maiden win here. ILLUMINATED SKY hasn't shown much in any of his four career starts but takes a big drop in class and looks like a contender here. DEVOTED GROOM didn't fire last time out but looks capable of better.
Race 6
MELODY'S RIDGE looked very sharp beating a few of these same horses last time out. A repeat of that effort would make her tough again today. AINT IT THE TRUTH takes a big drop in class after an even effort against much tougher last time out. She should improve in her second start over the track and looks like a contender here. EXTRA CHROMOSOME was overmatched against older horses last time out but was impressive winning at this level before that one and would be no surprise here.
Race 7
BULL ALLEY drops in for a tag for the first time and looks best against a weak field here. EMILY D moves up in class after being beaten as the favorite in her 37th career start and still looks like a contender. MCTAPIT has a chance.
Race 8
GOOD MON was second best behind an impressive winner last time out. He should be in a good spot just off the pace again today and is the choice for the win here. PRESENTS FOR BERTI has looked very sharp winning each of his last two starts. He moves up in class today and has to be considered. CULLINAN ran a decent race on the grass at Gulfstream last time out and could be dangerous if he takes to the surface.
Race 9
FLAMETTE drops back in for a tag after a disappointing effort against a tough field last time out. She has the tactical speed to be well placed throughout and rates a slight edge in a wide open field. SHAWNEE MOON showed some decent form against tougher before being eased at Aqueduct last time out and could be tough if she takes to the Polytrack. DARLING STREET ran a solid race at first asking and any improvement off that one could make her dangerous here.
